I don’t want to be anybody else.
I want to know myself in a deeper level
Finding the purpose behind my eyes
Staying away from the painful lies
Discerning my life

Don’t want to do much but sit around and do what I want
Walking in hurt and remorse feelings about what could’ve been
Now I run around trying to find myself In God
A benefit from it all

I guess that was the plan
To make me closer to the one who caused
Lacking potential and now I am packing
Pain is a brick wall full of strength
That is what I once said
Pain bring out strength and a wall now I have built
Guarding my heart from a repeated history
Staying focused on what I someday could be

I want to win but who doesn’t ?
What does it take to be a true winner?
Well seeing it through this worlds view
Having money, pleasure and happiness
My world is classified differently
Being a winner is dying to these things
Finding a meaning beyond material swings

Joy, peace, love and forgiveness
Who can say that these are all good?
Forgiving is the last thing we think about
We run away
However, these things really set you free
Loving one another means having joy to care
Loving yourself will determine how we love one another
Forgiving is love
All of it brings peace

Well if this is a standard of living
Then what kind of person have I been?
Now I have to turn around and my life will finally begin

Maybe I didn’t do it yesterday but today I will
Start all over from day one
Yet, next day struggles will make me fall again
Now how do I find myself in all this
Following the truth will lead to the truth
Truth will set me free

I guess it is time to follow the path I have been neglecting
Finding me is to win
Finding the truth is to conquer
Finding him is the answer
